This F5 trick you all discovered is pretty wild. It essentially forces the system to treat your uploaded images as "generated image URLs," which is exactly why it unlocks the editing restrictions.

The best part? Because of how this works, you can actually intercept the payload and inject the "spicy" tag. This means you can finally generate spicy-mode videos directly from uploaded content again—something we haven't been able to do in over a year.
tried this in different browsers but if uploaded picture or edited picture has nudity in it, it still gets moderated.

thanks for your work. When enforcing spicy mode is successful, should it as a result show up as an option under the video presets? So far, I still only get "fun" and "normal"
It wont show on the UI at all, i should probably state this.
It instead changes the video generation to Spicy mode purely on the backend as long as the toggle on the UI is on. So just send a video generation request and dont include a custom text prompt as even if you do i set it up to wipe any custom text prompt in the generation request as custom text stops the Spicy mode from working.

Huge if true. Any example vids? I'm guessing this isn't possible to do manually? Time to audit a thousand lines of code I guess...
I mean Spicy mode in and of itself isnt even that good so the examples i have are just slightly more provocative versions of a normal video. I also find that all spicy mode videos result in alot of Motion_level: low and heavy music use and cringe ass dialogue so personally even though i never use it outside of getting imagine generated images into my favorites gallery
I'm sorry I don't really understand this. I installed the script, it's turned on, I go to grok.com/imagine and nothing seems different. What should I be looking for?
Did u enable the user script in tampermonkey? Do you see the ugly ass UI show up?

If so then know that i changed nothing with the grok interface itself the script is just a spicy mode forcer for the images that are uploaded to your gallery using the f5 trick that the script will automate for you and all of this is done via the scripts UI
tried this in different browsers but if uploaded picture or edited picture has nudity in it, it still gets moderated.
Later on when i can access my own private gallery i can show you some examples where i got a user uploaded iamge nude and a video RN if i open my gallery im so fired
I changed "and" by "or" in the script and instead of getting bland normal gen I got something moderated, so it's a good sign it's trying to generate something spicy at least. Thanks!
press f12 go into browsers devtools for network and filter them for the word 'new' and then make a video request you will see that the payloads message section will have the spicy mode tag at the end and the reponse will eventually show a progress update stating the mode is crazy and spicy or what ever order its on. Now go into a imaginge grok generated image and manually click the UI for spicy video and check that videos 'new' in the network tab of dev tools and see that the exact same thing happens.

I've tried with a handful of images and got the payload to modify, would only get stuff to go through if the woman wasn't fully nude, and without any direction the video just kinda sucks. would have to look into some more suggestive i2i prompts, but yeah it kinda works
Tbh dude Spicy mode has sucked ever since that period of time where all the videos were in slow motion, even actually vanilla spicy mode videos made from imagine images are just slow motion dogshit music laden SFW suggestive dances with cringe ass dialogue, you get better results custom prompting.
so with this, we're letting Grok determine what the "spicy" video will contain, as the prompts are getting ignored if the injector is enabled, correct?
Yeh bro, thats how spicy mode has always worked as when u make a spicy video from a imagine image it instantly starts accepting no prompt also like i said above Spicy videos are a relic of last years grok and are dogshit, i merely added it as proof that f5 tricked image uploads are being treated as a quasi imagine image hence the more open editing capabilities
How to do you install scripts on mobile phones?
AFAIK you cant maybe outside of tampermonkey for a phone browser as an extension and using grok via the web browser on mobiles interface?
